Denmark
Home Sweet Green Home
Danish Renewables obviously is a Danish born company, a country where over 50 percent of electricity is supplied by wind and solar power.
Denmark was a first mover in regards to wind energy production and today the country produces more wind energy per capita than any OECD country. Although not being the sunniest location in the world, sun power also contributes to the ambition of working towards the goal of 100 % renewable energy.
Danish Renewables has developed or co-owns 52 MW in Denmark.

Sweden
A frontrunner for renewables
Sweden, with its abundant natural resources and strong ambition, is striving to achieve its goal of 100% fossil-free electricity production by 2040. In 2022, over 60% of Sweden’s electricity was generated from renewable sources. Additionally, in 2023, Sweden expanded its solar capacity by approximately 1,600 MW, bringing the total solar capacity to around 4 GW.
In Sweden we work with a strong investor to develop strong sustainable projects that can at the same time take advantage and protect Sweden’s abundant natural resources working with biodiversity as a component in the design of all projects in Sweden.

Next up. Georgia
Being one of the countries in the world with the most water per capita, it’s not surprising that most of Georgia’s renewable energy comes from hydropower. However, with a total installed capacity of wind power projects expected to reach 1,500 MW by 2030, and only one wind facility currently in operation, there is significant potential to be found in this country. The annual sunshine hours range from 1,900 to 2,200, which further adds to this potential.
We are currently developing a 30 MW wind farm project and are pleased to be part of the expansion of renewable energy initiatives in Georgia.
