Georgia

The Upcomer

Being one of the countries in the world with the most water per capita, it’s not surprising that most of Georgia’s renewable energy comes from hydropower. However, with a total installed capacity of wind power projects expected to reach 1,500 MW by 2030, and only one wind facility currently in operation, there is significant potential to be found in this country. The annual sunshine hours range from 1,900 to 2,200, which further adds to this potential.

We are currently developing a 30 MW wind farm project and are pleased to be part of the expansion of renewable energy initiatives in Georgia.
