Moldova
A country eager to grow
Having recently been successfully synchronised with the Continental European Grid (entso-e), Moldova has begun the transition towards free market conditions, and laid the groundwork for a new competitive electricity market.
Since 2018 Danish Renewables has been active developing projects in Moldova and have developed 3 solar parks which are currently operational. In 2022 the solar park in Nisporeni, which is still operated by Danish Renewables, was inaugurated. Currently we expect to announce construction for a new project the first quarter of 2024, we have 73 MW Ready to Build in the country and more than 50 MW in pipeline.
