We are very excited to join the amazing partners Glint Solar, KiloWattsol, and Fraunhofer ISE in the AgriPV project that will help us get one step closer to finding solutions to the dilemma the global community faces when having to choose between future food production and the production of renewable solar energy.

Danish Renewables, Glint Solar, KiloWattsol, and Fraunhofer ISE have come together for a research project focused on integrating photovoltaic (PV) technology with agriculture, with the goal of accelerating the adoption of Agri-PV. This initiative is vital for advancing the development of solar energy in Europe, especially considering widespread land scarcity. It aims to address the urgent need for in-depth research on the impacts of Agri-PV on crop yields, PV production, and water usage. Additionally, the project includes the development of a specialized software tool designed for utility-scale developers, offering valuable insights and support to help scale solar energy deployment across Europe.
