Moldova

A country eager to grow

After Moldova was successfully synchronized with the Continental European Grid (entso-e) in 2022, the country began the transition to free market conditions and laid the foundation for a new competitive electricity market.
Since 2018, Danish Renewables has been active in Moldova. In the development of more than 10 projects, a total capacity of 57 Megawatts is operational or under construction.

In the fall of 2024, the first part (1 MW) of the solar park in Boldurești was inaugurated and sold in January 2025. Danish Renewables is now in the initial phase of building the park’s expansion, which will add the remaining 2,15 MW.

Danish Renewables has a local office and staff in Chisinau.
